No, not yet, not yet…
Let your eyes speak
Of roses in bloom
Remind me once again
Of the chalice of love we shared
Where fiery choir
Sang our song
At the blazing sun.
Shed no tears, not yet…
The midnight air
Still whispers your name
And deep from the abyss,
Creature of the night
Echoes my grief
Make me remember the picture
We make out of the clouds,
Hold my hand
And let us fly to the sky.
It’s still raining my love…

Oh dear.. somehow I have a feeling the rain is coming from the inside. Sigh.. This reminds me of the lyric, “why does the sun go on shining? why does the sea rush to shore? don’t they know it’s the end of the world? cause you don’t love me anymore..”

Lovely poem Mich. Sometimes we need the rain, so we can enjoy the sun when it warms our hearts.

This is beautiful. Just beautiful. Because beautiful can be rain washed and tear stained as well as sun-blushed.

I only EVER say what I mean! And I do mean to read more and more of you work. It will take me a little time because I am a person who prefers to do things properly. I am delighted our paths have crossed and hope we can meander along happily for a long long time!
