I shiver in the cold
As strong December wind blows
I remember you.
I shiver in pain
As it penetrates my skin
Come near me, my love.
I shiver and long
As I miss your warm embrace
Hold me please once more.

Nice poetry Mich and clever use of the Haiku. We are expecting temperatures of -10 degrees C in the UK overnight. Hope it is not that cold where you are. Lovely to be reading your poetry again.

December is the coldest month of the year from where i am..but i suppose that’s nothing compare to the December cold in UK.
