Choices

Some things in life are worth holding on,
and some need letting go
one is faced with so many options
but there are times that not even one
is worth the choice
you simply must give it up or die holding on and lose it all…
or live hating for wanting more…

  1. Powerful words Mich that bring me to reflection. Sometimes choice can paralyse us. When we make a choice and let go it puts us on a different path. Right or wrong it gives us new perspective.

  2. A great deal of truth in this poem. Very well done. I remember going through something similar. And what I recall most was the astounding feeling of fresh freedom the second I let go of the strings.

    Thanks for sharing Mich!
