Kate of Calmkate is up with a new and fun challenge:
think of three swirdle words and put them into a poem
Here are my three words:
Chillax (chill/relax)
Cosplay (costume/play)
Shopaholic (shop/alcoholic)
Drum roll, please………
Here’s my fun poem/verse using these words…
Lily, the shopaholic
feeling sad and melancholic
gone out and chillax, to say
so on with her lovely cosplay
went along the sidewalks and stroll
into the giant and massive mall
head, beaming with pride
walk fiercely and stride
as the brave and mighty
beautiful, Aphrodite.

( Lily, could be out there somewhere…)
Join in the fun at https://aroused.blog/2019/09/09/swirdle-prompt/
I intend to make this a fun post as my way of saying Life is hard, but there are moments, sometimes hours – and, if you’re really lucky, full days – where everything feels just right. .and today could be just right.
We can be anything we wanted to be, like Lily cosplaying as Aphrodite, an ancient Greek goddess associated with love, beauty, pleasure, passion, and procreation.

I really liked this poem. I imagine Lily being someone who’s kind of shy and withdrawn until she puts on her Aphrodite cosplay and then! Watch out world! 😀

Love your three words Mich and very creatively mixed into a fun poem. I have a good friend called Lily and I could almost imagine her in this scene. Fun prompt by Kate. 😊

We are stronger than we know. I was watching a show (MindField…I think an older YouTube episode) where children were given the opportunity heal themselves. They were never lied to, but helped to believe they could have more control over their actions by believing in themselves. It was more complex than all that – but in the end it really did help. The mind is a wonderful tool that we can use to help ourselves as well as be heroes to others.
