If

If

If I don’t like the way you hold my hand
would I wish for you to hold me again?

If I don’t like the way your lips touches mine, would I let you kiss me again?

If I don’t like the way you caress my hair
would I let you touch it gently?

If I don’t like the way you make me feel
would I let you tease me?

If I don’t like the thought of you
would I ever think about you?

If I don’t like the way you love me
would I love you even more?

If I don’t want to lose you
would I stand bravely in love with you?

Armed with nothing but love
let me stay.

P.S.

With more cities locked down and more rigid travel bans, we can hold on to nothing but love, love for our family, for our friends and for our significant others who can’t be with us

Keep safe everyone and keep the love❤❤❤

  1. Beautiful photo and poem pairing! We can all relate to your words.
Yes, hang on to that love…and keep sharing it. 🙂
Love is not a feeling, but a choice. And every day we can choose to love.
HUGS and ❤ to you and your precious family, SweetMich! 🙂

    1. Thank you for saying that we can choose to love. So much and so many has happened over the course of just a month. And we can only choose to be kind and to love..

  2. in such a time, love is the only thing that keeps us safe, communicating with the one we love and who loves us is so important, the need to nurture becomes like a drug. you have such a beautiful family, inside and out they are really amazing people, you are blessed as you give in return so unselfishly, i truly admire you my friend.

  3. Love is what must happen when we choose to support our family in any time.

(As it turned out… the ‘airport run’ which would normally have been about an hour and a half – with the aid of our special driver made the trip in under an hour…Unfortunately just enough time to say goodbye.)
