What If

what if you don’t have a photograph of me
will you still see the life we had so much of yet so little?

will you still feel the emotions running through the creases on my forehead as I smile?

will you remember how I open myself to you every day, a subtle invitation to join me as we journey through life?

will you remember how my eyes shine in great joy as I watch nature and the people around loving life?

will a photograph be enough to transport you back in time, when the world was ours to love and behold?

  1. Di ko po mahagilap ang sagot sa what if???

“Only heart capture each memories and the heart has unlimited storage to store memories.”

        👍👍👍

And yes i agree this is to get back on economy and so please sana sumunod na lahat.

Ingat ka dian…if public transport is still suspended i am guessing its very hard for the regular workers whose only mode of transportation is through public vehicles

  2. This is really wonderful, and what to say about the last.. The photograph, may be its image for others but only knows by those who framed into it.. that past, that moment, that beautiful life, the world which we put behind….🤗🤗

  3. I think this can also reconcile with a parent and a child…
It reminded me of the few photos I have of my birth mother… who passed when I was young.

  4. Oh, so beautiful, SweetMich! I have tears in my eyes.
We can all think of someone and relate to the wondering, the unanswered questions, the emotions.
I thought of you speaking to your father as I read your poem. But, I, also, thought of you wondering those things related to your own children some day.
Grateful for photos, but, also, for photos-in-the-mind and our memories. 🙂

Photos are really very useful in remembering people and events and like you said, our minds and hearts remember the most, and yes even without a photograph..😊😊😊

  5. Oh my gosh, this poem brings so much nostalgia of memories that have long passed, and that are fading away….(stop making me cry, Mich)! In all seriousness though, I love how you repeat “will you” and “a subtle invitation”, they’re just so beautifully worded 💖 I’d give this an A*, no doubt haha!!

      1. Yes, I actually love taking photos…my friends and I love going to the islands in hk and take pictures there, haha! I might post some in the future, actually! 🙂

Hmm, I’m not sure actually, but film cameras are sooo popular amongst my year group now actually! Everyone’s really into vintage looking things!

  6. Honestly, our phones might be full of HD photographs but the old rustic albums always hold the dearest memories.
That’s a beautiful reminder of the same and it indeed transport us back in time.
Beautiful emotions captured in beautiful words, as usual Mich.
    Love this❤
