Tell Me #whatdoyousee

tell me the good
in the morning
when there ain’t
around you smilin’
with a cup of crisp,
nutty fresh americano,
perfectly paired
with sweet, bitter
chocolate cookie,
and the crunchiness of
crispy, chewy almond nut
tell me the good in the evening
when there ain’t around you
to kiss me goodnight

’til I fall magically asleep
in the warmth of your
loving arms
tell me the good in all that I do
when there ain’t you
to share it with
tell me as I pray
tell me as I hope
tell me as I wish
tell me as I navigate
upon the realm
of dreams and fantasy
tell me, you’ll be there
in my reality

  1. This is so beautiful and heartfelt! It brought tears to my eyes! And then looking at the photo gave even more meaning to your words and the emotions in your words! Wonderful, SweetMich! 🙂 Now, I need to go find a tissue.

    1. Thank you too Sadje..the image was very intriguing and i initially thought of writing vivid imagery of the photo but i thought i’d go deeper than that..so i went inside the mind and heart of the woman ..

      1. You’re welcome Mich! 😊 💖

I’m doing well, though honestly trying to not let all that’s going on in the world bring me down. The numbers in my state have been escalating and school is going to open with not a great plan in place next month. It’s a little unnerving. However, I’m taking it one day at a time and remembering to breathe. 😊 ❤️ 🤗

        How are you Mich?

      2. Oh, my…my thoughts and prayers are with you today onwards…keep safe Jenna and so as your family. We are so far like you trying to cope everyday and making the most out of all the blessings that we have. Though my home country’s condition is not so well too as the statistics is skyrocketing too..

        Be safe my friend
