I am just
a speck of light
in the vastness
of the universe;
but with you,
i am not even just a light,
i am your universe

That’s amazing the imagery conjured up reminds me of an old saying: To the world you are just one small person, but to one person you are the world. Universe actually sounds much more permanent really.

This resonates with the mother in me (more than the lover). I remember just looking at my babies and thinking “I am their whole world”. When said during the day – it filled me with love and happiness but when said at night during the 3 AM feeding, it filled me with dread. 😂 lovely words nonetheless!
