You Are Home

there are many ways to make the world good
the ones that we know most of
are exciting and impressive
world leaders, scientific innovators,
inspired thinkers, and selfless doers
but there are other ways
to make the world good; quieter ways
making a home
where good people can grow
is perhaps the most rewarding one

in the warmth of my palm
and in the comfort
of my love
you are home

in the warmth of my palm
and in the comfort
of my love
you are home

  1. Beautifully eloquent, and your poetic finale is superb….
You’ve inspired me to create a Haiku from the quote I wrote for you a few days ago…about the universe and love…

    ”A Universe Within, a Haiku”

    In this Universe
    Love’s our universe within
    Our own shining star”

  2. Beautiful, and so true!
You’ve honored the-often-ingnored heroes! Anytime we can make someone feel safe, loved, encouraged, taught, accepted…then the world becomes a better place. And parents should CERTAINLY be that haven for their children. 🙂
    HUGS!!! 🙂 ❤

    1. I agree with you Carolyn, the world is not only made up of famous leaders and great thinkers but of parents, mothers and fathers who silently raised loving and compassionate children.

send my love to Coops Carolyn..
