Do you remember how Heathcliff passionately loves Catherine? the first time he laid his eyes on her? It causes her to shiver like a root in the rain from the base of her neck to the end of her spine
Do you remember how Heathcliff declared he indeed loves Catherine? that she is his soul mate, united to him in eternity?
It made her love him so intensely that she claims they are the same person one
Do you remember how you gave “Wuthering Heights” while we were walking along the busy street of *Recto?
It causes me to shiver like a root in the rain from the base of my neck to the end of my spine
Do you remember Heathcliff? because I remember him in you I am your **Catherine, you are my **Heathcliff but unlike them together we will be In love forever.
Note. **Heathcliff, the protagonist of Wuthering Heights (Emily Bronte), is well-known as a romantic hero due to his undying love for Catherine.
*Recto is one of the busiest streets along with University Belt in Manila, Philippines

I love this love story Mich, … best you patent that love potion, before those mad Covid vaccine scientist find it, and give the world’s population a dose of “Love”…💙💙🌏
I love this, SweetMich! Beautiful! And love the connection to WH!!! I remember reading it when I was in high school. (Saw a couple of movies of it, too.) I always loved the quote “I have to remind myself to breathe…almost to remind my heart to beat!” – Emily Brontë
Oh what a wonderful love! 🙂 And your beautiful poem made me smile and SIGH, SweetMich! 🙂
(((HUGS)))
PS…Did you know that Emily Brontë never knew the extent of fame she achieved with her only novel? She died a year after its publication at age 30. 😦
Aw thank you so much Carolyn…i am so happy to know you love it..and yess it was so sad to actually know that Emily didint get to witness her influence to the world through her novel..😍😍😍
This is such a wonderful declaration of love Mich.
