isn’t the chance to become a leader open to everyone?
isn’t independence a basic concept of democracy?
why are you being told to be grateful for the equality you have been granted?
why are you being told to accept things as it is and for how it is?
you were everything you were expected to be,
a cradle of love, kindness, generosity,
and compassion to the world’s next generation of youths.
but what have they done to you?
what honor and grace have they given you?
the power to run a household?
the pocket to keep the finances?
the privilege of feeding the hungry?
isn’t running a home a joint responsibility?
isn’t holding stable finances a common struggle for all humanity?
isn’t feeding the hungry a fundamental human obligation?
why, then, are you told to be contented and quiet?
why are you said to be useless when the finances crumble down?
why are you told to be dumb when the food is not as good as they want?
woman, don’t be fooled by what they said:” you have equal rights, responsibilities, and opportunities to that of a man.”
to be equal is the least you need
and the least you should have.
equity is what you deserve; let the world recognize your worth as an individual, not as what you were expected to be; let the world offer you opportunities and resources exactly how you need them.
let the world see your worth as it is and not as part of the requirement to be somebody’s woman.

And weak men quake when a woman roars. Strong men fear the power of strong women. The reaction is the same – distract, deflect, deny. Women will demand, decry, decide to change the status quo. A man alone cannot create the next generation…
A very Powerful Poem dear Mich… So many have downtrodden the Women of this world.. But Change is coming.. The Feminine is on the rise…
Sending LOVE your way Mich ❤
Wonderfully articulated, Mich. 🙂

Women are indeed fooled by poetic glorification of their sacrifices and selflessness. It is time to say that’s not enough.
