i’d love to have a stroboscopic device so i can measure how your heart works for no single piece of electrocardiogram device could calculate the massive amount of love you have for a daughter like me.
i am not every mother’s dream for her little girl to be i don’t like barbie dolls or being dolled up myself i’d rather be where there lies a pile of newspapers to read i’d rather be hypnotized by what it has to say ’bout the world we live in.
and that’s okay, ‘cos i am with you curled up against the pile of newspapers, in a trance, as we struggle to decipher all of the crossword puzzles papa, i’m okay without barbie dolls and princess gowns as long as you’re with me in our perfect wavelength of entrainment.
i’d love to have a stroboscopic device so i can measure how your heart works ‘cos papa, your heart is perfect for my crooked, twisted self your love is immeasurable; not even the greatest mathematician could estimate that i am sure.
i am odd, i am peculiar, i never conform and that’s okay, ‘cos i fit perfectly to be the daughter you want me to be i could go on with my rambling and pretending but the truth just can’t be hidden; you’re gone
and i am not okay.
how long has it been papa? so long i lost count.
but i’m still hurting.
Reena’s prompt:
I created a word cloud for the prompt today.
You can choose to do any of the following.
• Choose at least two words from the above in your piece.
• Guess the theme and use it.
• Use synonyms of two words in case these words do not appeal to you.
Or use the theme and/or words in any other manner you like.
P. S.
and because i’d love to push myself, i did not just use two words but all the words. 🤭
