Dark Clouds #whatdoyousee

with a heart so heavy,

miserable, unhappy

weighed down with grief and sadness

and with a smile so bleak

full of sorrow

gloomy and somber

from a faraway distance

here is wishing you that we are both

looking at the same dark clouds

in a brighter way

from a different perspective

and different point of view

because even the darkest of clouds

could clear at any minute

and reveal a hundred colored

weightless magically maneuvered

paper bag clouds, drifting under the sun

dancing through the wind

taking flight,

rising above life

with a heart, so heavy here is wishing you that we are both

looking at the same dark clouds

I Remember You (with a smile)

I remember you on a glorious cloudless night
where snowflakes of stars light the sky
with a promise of life in darkness
and a sense of warmth amidst
the cold breezy wind

I remember you
with a smile

I remember you in the stillness of the dawn
when the night and day had become
one memorable beautiful moment
as the sun starts to open like
a flower in the horizon
I remember you
with a smile
I remember  you in the chaos of the day
chaotic as the Grand Central Station
lively as people busy enjoying
a bustling place full of noise
pleasant and interesting

I remember you

with a smile

I remember you with all of my heart on this sweet summer May

I welcome May with joy, love and a heart full of gratitude while i remember my father who passed away this month ten years ago. He died at 59. Unannounced. Unnoticed. No goobyes.

I welcome May with a smile.

My gratitude to my fellow bloggers who became my friends too for all of their comforting comments.

For the past 10 years i have been longing for my moment of goodbye; but as kate https://aroused.blog/, said ” ah your longing to say ‘goodbye’ … it’s been such a strong wish for years Mich that I’m sure he has heard you”, thank you Kate i am sure of that by now.

I take pleasure too in the comforting words of some very special friends here like Gina https://alifelesslivedblog.wordpress.com/, who we jokingly talk about our fathers to have probably met in heaven talking and bragging about each others daugthers (that would be me and Gina, lol)

Carolyn, https://doesitevenmatter3.wordpress.com/”Oh, what a sweet and special tribute to your father! I know you miss him so much! You were fortunate to have such a wonderful dad! Thank you for letting us all honor him, with you, on the day of his birth”.
Yes Carolyn i am very fortunate to have him as my father.

Snowheart, https://snowheart0529.wordpress.com/ who despite of being new around, was very generous in saying ” he is in God’s hand “. That is very comforting my dear

Andrew, https://thelonelyauthorblog.com/,
” This gets me right in the heart.
A daddy’s girl“, yes to being a daddy’s girl Drew

Val, https://murisopsis.wordpress.com/ who said ” Your dad sounds every inch the gentleman! Girls need fathers so that they can become strong and independent women.. Sounds like he did a great job and is recognized by the only one who counts – you!!”, thank you Val.

Punam, https://paeansunpluggedblog.wordpress.com/ who thinks i did a very sweet tribute to my father when i wrote Gorgeous, https://michnavs.wordpress.com/2020/04/27/gorgeous/

Deepa https://syncwithdeep.wordpress.com/2020/04/27/my-musings/ who was inspired  to a beautiful poem for his brother after reading the poem “Gorgeous”

And to Rosema, Maria and Jade, the three lovely young poets of WP who were there to cheer me up back in 2017 when i wrote a series of “Summer Rain” poems in memory of my father.

Jade, said “One of the hardest things of losing a loved one is not being able to say goodbye properly. I hope one day in the far future, you and your dad will meet again. In the meantime, I’m sending lots of virtual hugs and well wishes”  https://jademwong.wordpress.com/

Rosema, “oh my dear. my tears. i cannot fight back the tears. and goosebumps. wow. wow. the pain. the longing. and the hope. the love. oh my dear. he loves you. and i am sure you loves him back. huuuuugs!” https://areadingwritr.wordpress.com/

Maria of https://mariawenttotown15.wordpress.com/

Sue said https://suedreamwalker.wordpress.com/”this had the tears flowing within me also Mich.. And those we love who have returned home often find a way to get their messages across.. And I know all your posts, you have been Healing in the Rain..
Sending warm hugs dear friend.. Love to you”

Rose, https://poetrummager.org/ “Darling Mich, I, too, lost my father in April; two years ago. Much love and warm wishes.” Thank you Rose for sharing the poem you wrote for your father too https://poetrummager.com/2015/06/17/under-his-armor-of-anger/

Mirriam https://outanabout.com/This is so heartfelt, so raw and poignant. Thank you for sharing your emotion with us. Your dad clearly lives on in your heart”
